Regional round of National High School Programming Competition held at RU

RAJSHAHI, May 16, 2026 (BSS) - Rajshahi University (RU) hosted the regional round of the National High School Programming Competition (NHSPC) 2026 at the Kazi Nazrul Islam Auditorium on Friday.

The Information and Communication Technology Division of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh organised the event.

RU Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Prof Mohammad Main Uddin attended as chief guest, while Treasurer Prof Md Motiar Rahman was present as special guest.

Prof Md Rokanuzzaman, Chairman of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, presided over the programme.

Organisers arranged quiz and programming competitions to prepare students for a technology-driven future. The competition featured three categories: Junior, Secondary and Higher Secondary.

Winners in the quiz contest received medals, certificates and T-shirts. In the programming competition, the top ten participants from each category received medals, certificates and T-shirts.
