Program going on at Shilpakala Academy recalling film scholars

DHAKA, Feb 27, 2025 (BSS) - Paying tributes to late film scholars of the country, a programme is going on at National Theatre Building of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) here, starting on Wednesday. 

The Department of Drama and Film of BSA organized the programme titled 'Monishi Smaran', a BSA press release said today.

Film director, writer, and playwright Mrinal Sen was remembered at the program yesterday.

At today's event, the career of renowned film director Alamgir Kabir and his contribution to Bengali cinema were discussed in a discussion.
