THAKURGAON, March 1, 2025 (BSS) - Police recovered the body of a night 
guard from Bamanpara area under Ranishankail upazila of the district today.

The deceased was Khairul Islam, 60, a resident of Bhabanandapur village of the 
upazila.

Being informed, a police team rushed to the spot and recovered the body from a 
corn field this afternoon, said Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ranishankail Police 
Station Arshedul Haque.

The body bore several injury marks, he said. It (the body) was sent to the hospital 
morgue for postmortem.

Police are working to identify and bring the culprits to book, the OC said.
