DHAKA, March 02, 2025 (BSS) - Participants of the seven-day Terracotta Plaque Making Workshop have got awards and certificates at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) here on Saturday. 

Among the participants in the workshop, 10 artistes were awarded prizes and 62 participating students received certificates.

Department of Fine Arts of BSA organized the award and certificate distribution ceremony at National Art Gallery Auditorium of the academy, a BSA press release said today.

Dr Abdus Sattar, Professor of the Department of Oriental Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts, Dhaka University, was present as the chief guest at the event. 

Professor Dr Azharul Islam Sheikh, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Dhaka University, was present as the special guest.
 
Mustafa Zaman, Director of the Department of Fine Arts, BSA, presided over it.
