Fire in city's Rampura garage brought under control

DHAKA, March 24, 2025 (BSS) - A fire broke out in a CNG run auto-rickshaw garage in the city's Palashpur area of Rampura early this morning, was brought under control with one hour's intense efforts.

The fire originated around at 5:28 am, media officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) Md Anwarul Islam told BSS.

Six fire fighting engines from Khilgaon, Baridhara, Tejgaon and Siddiq Bazar fire stations rushed to the scene and doused the blaze at 6:30 am, he said.

No casualties were reported in this fire incident, he also said.

The cause behind the fire and the extent of damage is yet to be determined, he added.
