Weather may remain dry

DHAKA, March 25, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD)
today forecasted the weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky
over the country for the next 24 hours, starting from 9 am today.

"Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country,"
it said.

Trough of low lies over the West Bengal and adjoining area. Seasonal low lies
over the South Bay.

Besides, day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country, the
forecast added.

Country's maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded 35.5 degrees Celsius in
Sitakunda upazila in Chattogram district while today's minimum temperature
14.7 degrees Celsius was recorded at Srimangal upazila in Moulvibazar
district.

The sun sets at 06:11pm today and rises at 05:57am tomorrow in the capital.
