Tarique Rahman inquires about health condition of July-injured Imran

DHAKA, March 25, 2025 (BSS) – BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman today inquired about the medical condition of Chhatra Dal leader Imran, who is taking treatment for eight months after being injured in the July-August-2024 uprising.
 
Tarique Rahman spoke to Imran over phone around 8:00 pm tonight through the central General Secretary of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal Nasir Uddin Nasir.
 
During the time, BNP Acting Chairman inquired about Imran's physical condition.
 
Tarique Rahman expressed his deep sympathy for the injured Imran and assured him of providing all sorts of support.
 
He said that BNP men would stand by Imran during his treatment period at hospital.
 
Chhatra Dal Office Secretary Jahangir Alam, Assistant General Secretary Rahat Hossain, Dhaka College Chhatra Dal President Piyal Hasan and Member Secretary Millad Hossain were present, among others, on the occasion. They also sought Imran's speedy recovery.
 
On July 19 last year, Imran, a member of the convening committee of Dhaka College, was shot during the July movement in the capital's Paltan area.
 
Since then, he is undergoing treatment at National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR), popularly known as 'Pangu Hospital' in capital's Shyamoli area.
