10 air force personnel get honorary promotions

DHAKA, Mar 26, 2025 (BSS) – Seven master warrant officers of Bangladesh Air Force have been conferred with honorary commissions as honorary flying officers and three honorary flying officers as honorary flight lieutenants, marking the Independence and National Day.
 
Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Plans) Air Vice Marshal Md. Sharif Uddin Sarkar presented the honorary commissions to the officers, pinning their rank badges as a symbol of recognition for their dedication and service at a special ceremony at the Bangladesh Air Force Headquarters in the capital.
 
Officers promoted to honorary flying officers are: Master Warrant Officers Md Rafiqul Islam, Md Humayun Kabir, Dewan Ali, Mohammad Shacchu Mia, Chowdhury Nizam Uddin Ahmed, Sohel Mia, and Mohammad Sirajul Islam.
 
The three honorary flying officers promoted to honorary flight lieutenants are Md Najimul Haque, Khondkar Md Badiul Alam, and Md Shahidul Islam.
 
This honorary commission of the air force officers will be effective from March 26, 2025.
