DHAKA, April 03, 2025 (BSS) - A two-day Tourism and Film Festival 2025 will be held on April 18-19 at the Ustad Jahangir Resort Auditorium in Cox's Bazar.

The Global Aviation and Tourism Journalists Association and Film Star Club are going to organize festival, said a press release today.

The festival will feature discussions on the development and growth of Bangladesh's tourism industry, film screenings, award giving and poster exhibitions of Bengali films.

In addition, several films including Bengali movies will be screened at the event.

On the occasion, renowned journalist Abdur Rahman and late renowned filmmaker and late journalist Fazlul Haque will be honored for their outstanding contribution to film journalism.

A festival celebration committee has been formed to make the festival successful with film actor Ustad Jahangir Alam as chairman, Belayet Hossain Bablu as co-chairman and journalist Hafiz Rahman as member secretary.
