University, Rangpur (BRUR) Professor Md. Showkat Ali has said there is no
alternative to training to enhance knowledge and professional skills.

"University officials can properly utilize the knowledge gained from various
training programmes while working in their respective offices to take the
university forward," he said.

The VC said this while addressing a training workshop titled "Office
Management" held in the virtual classroom of Academic Building-2 of the

guest at the workshop.

Prof Showkat Ali hoped that this workshop would play an important role for
the participating officials in taking the university forward.

"The changes, which will come among the officials through gaining experience
and skills from the workshop, will also bring about positive changes in the
university," he said.

The BRUR Registrar said the knowledge and ideas gained from such workshops
will further sharpen the professional skills of the officials and help them
in performing their office work more efficiently.

With IQAC Director Prof Md. Tajul Islam in the chair, Controller of
