1,155 cases filed against vehicles for traffic rules violation

DHAKA, April 17, 2025 (BSS) - Dhaka Metropolitan Police's (DMP) Traffic Division has filed a total of 1,555 cases in a single day across the capital for violating traffic rules.

DMP Traffic Division filed those cases and realized fines on April 16 through regular drive against traffic rules breakers, according to a press release.

The DMP release said that 204 motor vehicles were dumped and 65 vehicles were wrecked during the drive.
 
It further said these drives against traffic rule breakers will continue to ensure discipline on Dhaka's streets.
