Seminar on Allama Iqbal at DU

DHAKA, April 20, 2025 (BSS) – A seminar titled 'Allama Iqbal's State Thought' will be held at RC Majumdar Hall of Dhaka University (DU) at 3:30 pm. 
 
Allama Iqbal Sangsad will organize it marking the great poet Allama Iqbal's death anniversary. 
 
Professor Dr Anisuzzaman, former vice chancellor of Patuakhali Science and Technology University, Prof Dr Abdul Latif Masum, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Bangladesh Open University, Dr Dil Rowshan Zinnat Ara Nazneen, member of Broad of Directors of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) and editor of Dainik Naya Diganta Alamgir Mohiuddin, journalist Mustafa Kamal Majumder and poet Mosharraf Hossain Khan will attend it as discussants.  
 
Allama Iqbal, broadly considered as the National Poet of Pakistan, was a multifaceted figure such as a poet, philosopher, lawyer and scholar.  
 
He is widely known for his significant contributions to Urdu and Persian literature.
