Shilpakala Academy's dance festival ended in city

DHAKA, April 30, 2025 (BSS) – The two-day dance festival held under the auspices of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy marking the International Dance Day concluded today.

The festival which began Tuesday  ended around 5 pm today with a concluding ceremony at National Theatre Hall at Shilpakala Academy premises, a press release said.

The country's leading dance troupes and performers presented colourful dance in the festival.

At the beginning of the program, the dance group 'Nrityayan' performed the 'Semi Classical' dance, directed by Monira Parveen.

The dance group 'Kalpotoru' performed the ensemble  dance 'Anjali Loho Mor', directed by Samrat Dutta.

Kaya Ashram performed another ensemble dance 'Bipul Taranga, Nikhil', directed by Amit Chowdhury.
