Classical music master class held in Dhaka

DHAKA, May 4, 2025 (BSS) - A workshop on music master was held today at the National Drama Theatre with the joint venture of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) and Russian House in Dhaka here.

The workshop titled 'Master Class by the Musicians Rising Stars of the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory' was joined by three Russian music trainers - Stanislav Chernukhin, Karina Khovalyg and Mikhail Loginov. 

Bangladeshi young music artists joined the workshop as trainees, according to a press release.

Director of the BSA training department A F M Nurur Rahman coordinated the workshop, and the music instructor of the training department, Monalin Ajad, took part in the workshop as an executive.

The class has opened up an opportunity for cultural exchange between Bangladesh and Russia, paving the way for Bangladeshi artists to connect and collaborate with Russian music artists, read the press release.
