RANGPUR, May 7, 2025 (BSS) - Agriculture Adviser Lieutenant General Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury (retd) is expected to visit in Dinajpur on a day-long visit on Thursday.
 
The adviser will inaugurate the BRRIdhan-88 harvesting in a ceremony at Dhelapeer Block of Mokhlespur union under Biral upazila of Dinajpur at 12:30 pm and will exchange views with farmers as the chief guest, said a Rangpur regional PID office press note.
 
After that, the adviser will exchange views on the overall law and order situation and agriculture with the Divisional Commissioner of Rangpur, Rangpur Range DIG, Deputy Commissioners and Superintendents of Police of Rangpur division at Dinajpur Circuit House at 2:00 pm.

The adviser will also interact with officials of the Barind Multipurpose Development Authority (BMDA) at the Bangladesh Wheat and Maize Research Institute in Dinajpur at 4:20 pm.
 
At the same place, he will interact with officials of different departments and organizations under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Rangpur division at 5:00 pm.
 
The adviser is expected to leave Saidpur Airport for Dhaka in the evening on the same day, the press note added.
