Photo exhibitions on Russian cultural diversity open in Dhaka

DHAKA, May 20, 2025 (BSS) - Two photo exhibitions titled "Multinational Russia" and "Peoples of Russia" opened at the Russian House in Dhaka on Monday, offering visitors a glimpse into the rich cultural tapestry and ethnic diversity of the Russian Federation.

Organized by the Russian House, the exhibitions present a visual journey through the lives, traditions and customs of the people from various regions of Russia, many of which remain relatively unknown to the international community.

The "Multinational Russia" segment highlights the vast ethnic and cultural diversity of the country through striking portraits and vivid scenes from the daily lives of different communities. 

Meanwhile, "Peoples of Russia" explores the unity and individuality of the Russian people, underscoring their shared values and unique cultural identities.

The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of cultural and educational institutions in Bangladesh, alongside students and well-wishers of the Russian House.

The exhibitions aim to strengthen cultural ties and promote mutual understanding between the peoples of Bangladesh and Russia by showcasing the depth and richness of Russian heritage.
