Addressing the zakat recipients, the religious adviser emphasized that the money received from the government Zakat Fund should be used in a planned manner.

"This money should be invested to make one self-reliant in society. Individuals should engage in income-generating activities such as raising livestock and poultry, fishing, vegetable production and setting up cottage industries. Through the activities, poverty alleviation will be accelerated," he added.

Urging the people to donate zakat money to the government Zakat fund, Dr. Khalid emphasized that if the government zakat fund can be strengthened, the fate of the poor people of this country will change. The socio-economic condition of the country will improve".

He appealed to the wealthy people of society to support poor people.
At this event, a total of 64 poor and helpless people from different classes and professions were given funds from the government Zakat fund.
