FENI, June 19, 2025 (BSS) - A man was killed and two others were injured in a 
road accident in Notun Bazar area of the district town here today.

The deceased was Joynal Abedin, 32, son of Kabir Ahmed of Bogada village 
under Sonagazi upazila of the district.

The accident took place around 11 am on the Feni-Sonagazi road when a CNG-run 
auto rickshaw fell into roadside and turned turtle to save a cow, leaving its 
passenger Joynal dead on the spot and two others injured, police said. 

The injured were taken to a local hospital. Later one of the injured was 
shifted to Chattogram Medical College Hospital in critical condition.

Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Model Police Station Shamsuzzaman confirmed the 
matter.
