Female students outnumber male counterparts in SSC exams

DHAKA, July 10, 2025 (BSS) - The female students have outnumbered their male counterparts in terms of pass rate as well as obtaining GPA-5 in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations-2025 likewise previous year.

A total of 6,76,445 female students passed the examinations with 71.03 percent success rate this year while the number of successful male students is 6,26,981 with 65.88 percent pass rate, according to the SSC results published here today.

Last year, the pass rate of female students was 84.47pc while success rate of male students was 81.57pc and simultaneously female students also outnumbered their male counterparts in terms of getting GPA-5.

Among the GPA-5 holders, 65,416 are male and 73,616 are female students this year.
