DHAKA, Aug 7, 2025 (BSS) - In the ongoing nationwide anti-criminal crackdown, police arrested 1622 more crime suspects in the last 24 hours.

According to the Police Headquarters, 1119 of them were netted in previous cases and pending warrants while 503 others on various criminal charges.

Three country-made pipeguns, one foreign revolver, two one shooter guns, 19 cartridges, six shells of bullets, six crude bombs and several sharp weapons were seized during the operation.
