JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY, Aug 30, 2025 (BSS) - Jahangirnagar University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan today inaugurated the construction of the extended Arts and Humanities Faculty building under the 'Further Development Project' of the university.

The construction of the extended building, located on the premises of the abandoned Fazilatunnesa Hall beside the old transport office, was formally inaugurated around 3 pm, according to a press release signed by the university's Public Relations Office.

JU Pro-VC (Academic), Professor Dr M Mahfuzur Rahman; Pro-VC (Administration), Professor Dr Sohel Ahmed; Dean of Arts and Humanities Faculty, Professor Dr Mozammel Haque; along with faculty members and other officials were present.
