DHAKA, Sept 2, 2025 (BSS) - The Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board (BMEB) has confirmed that the Class Five scholarship examination will be held this year in Ebtedayi madrasas across the country. 

The Board has published the mark distribution and sample question papers to help students prepare properly for the examination. 

The announcement came through a circular issued by the Board's Examination Controller Prof Dr Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan. 

According to the circular, the 2025 Ebtedayi Scholarship Examination will be held on December 21, 22, 23, 24 and 28. 

The examination will cover six subjects: Quran Majeed and Tajweed, Aqaid and Fiqh, Arabic (First and Second Papers), Bengali, English, and Mathematics and Science. 

The exam will be of 500 marks in total, with 100 marks allotted to each subject. 

Only students from independent Ebtedayi madrasas and affiliated Ebtedayi branches registered under the Madrasa Education Board code will be eligible to participate.
