RANGPUR, Nov 4, 2025 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 arrested a suspected drug peddler along with huge quantities of phensedyl and Yaba tablets from Sadar upazila of Nilphamari district today. 
 
The seized goods include 123 bottles of contraband phensedyl syrup and 205 pieces of Yaba tablets, a press release said here this evening.
 
On a tip off, an operational team of RAB-13's Crime Prevention Company-2 from Nilphamari Camp in a drive seized the drugs and arrested one person from village Paschim Kuchiamour under Sadar police station of Nilphamari district at 1:10 pm.
 
The detainee is Md Soleman Ali, 48, son of Eslam Uddin of the same Paschim Kuchiamodur village.
 
After filing a case in this incident, the elite force handed over the seized drugs and the arrested person to Sadar police station of Nilphamari district.
