DHAKA, Jan 2, 2026 (BSS) – Dr Kamal Hossain, emeritus president of Gonoforum, has been admitted to Square Hospital here with seriously illness.

Gonoforum confirmed the matter in a press release, saying that Dr Kamal was taken to the hospital this morning.

According to the release, he is undergoing treatment for physical weakness and lung-related complications. 

After being admitted to the hospital, he has been kept under close observation.

Doctors are giving the highest priority to managing his respiratory system and lung complications. 

At present, restoring his physical strength and preventing infection remain the main focus of his treatment, the party sources said.
