Intake test results of nine agriculture universities tomorrow

MYMENSINGH, Jan 6, 2025 (BSS) – The results of the first-year honours admission test of nine universities under the agricultural cluster for the 2025–26 academic year will be published tomorrow.

The information was confirmed this afternoon by Md Abdullah Mridha, Registrar (in-charge) of Gazipur Agricultural University (GAU) and member secretary of the central admission committee of the agricultural cluster.

He said the agricultural cluster test results would be published after approval of the result sheet at a meeting of the vice-chancellors of the nine universities, scheduled to be held at Gazipur Agricultural University at 11 am tomorrow.

Regarding the exact time of publication, Md Abdullah Mridha said preparations were underway to publish the results in the evening.

It may be mentioned that the agricultural cluster admission test was held on January 3 from 2pm to 3pm using the MCQ method. The examination was conducted simultaneously at 20 sub-centres across the country, covering nine universities.

This year, a total of 3,701 seats are available under the agricultural cluster, against which 88,228 students applied.

The universities included in the agricultural cluster are Bangladesh Agricultural University, Gazipur Agricultural University, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Patuakhali University of Science and Technology, Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Sylhet Agricultural University, Khulna Agricultural University, Habiganj Agricultural University, and Kurigram Agricultural University.
