Tarique Rahman holds meeting with Dhaka-17 BNP leaders

DHAKA, Jan 6, 2026 (BSS) – Ahead of the upcoming 13th national parliamentary election, Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman today held a special discussion meeting with the leaders of Dhaka-17 constituency.

The meeting began at 11 am at the BNP Chairperson’s Office in Gulshan in the city and continued till 1 pm.

Among the four thanas of the constituency, he held discussions today with leaders and activists from Banani thana. Party Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Chatro Dal General Secretary Nasir Uddin Nasir, along with important leaders from the thana level, were present at the meeting.

Chatro Dal General Secretary Nasir informed that the meeting was part of the ongoing series of meetings, held ahead of the 13th national election. At the meeting, Tarique Rahman provided various directions to the party members regarding overall aspects of the upcoming election. 

The meeting aims to strengthen party preparations and boost voter’s participation in the national election.
