
RANGPUR, Jan 16, 2026 (BSS) - The admission test for 'C' Unit of the first year degree (honors) course of Rajshahi University for the academic year 2025-2026 was held in two shifts at Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) on Friday.
"The admission test for 'C' Unit was held simultaneously at six regional centers across the country on Friday," a BRUR press release said here tonight.
In the first shift, which was held from 11 am to 12 noon, 2,321 candidates participated in the exam at BRUR center, 3,284 candidates at Cantonment Public School and College center, and 1,307 candidates at Millennium Stars School and College center in Rangpur.
The total attendance rate at the three exam centers was 93.76%.
In the second shift, 3,168 candidates participated in the exam held from 3 p, to 4 pm at BRUR center, 3,308 candidates at Cantonment Public School and College center, and 1,307 candidates at Millennium Stars School and College center.

BRUR Vice-chancellor Professor Dr Md Showkat Ali visited BRUR exam center.
After the inspection, he told reporters that the Rajshahi University admission test was held in a fair environment at BRUR center.
Candidates from the entire northern region, including Rangpur, were able to take the exam at the three centers in Rangpur city, saving their time and money.
He said that the attendance rate at three centers for 'C' unit admission test was satisfactory.
He also expressed gratitude to all concerned, including the teachers, officers, and employees of the university, for conducting the Rajshahi University admission test in an orderly manner.
At this time, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Professor Dr Md Mizanur Rahman, Professor of the Department of Agronomy and Agricultural Extension of Rajshahi University Dr Md. Aminul Haque, BRUR Registrar Dr Md Harun-or Rashid, Proctor Dr Md Ferdous Rahman and others were present.
