Govt releases song on national polls, referendum for Sylhet division

DHAKA, Jan 16, 2026 (BSS) – The government has released a song made on the upcoming parliamentary elections and the referendum for the Sylhet division.

The Chief Adviser’s Press Wing released the song tonight, saying that the Ministry of Cultural Affairs produced eight thematic songs, one for each of the country’s eight divisions.

The government produced the songs as part of its ongoing efforts to create public awareness about the forthcoming general elections and the referendum slated for February 12.

Besides, the government is also releasing photo cards, calling the citizens to cast “Yes” vote in the referendum to build a new Bangladesh as dreamt by themselves.

According to the press wing, eight photo cards were scheduled to be released from January 11 to 18.
