22 more dengue patients hospitalized in last 24 hrs

DHAKA, Feb 22, 2026 (BSS) - Twenty-two more dengue patients were hospitalised across the country in the past 24 hours, with no deaths reported during the period, said the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) today.

Of the new cases, nine were reported from Barishal division, five from Chattogram division, five from Dhaka division , one from Dhaka North City Corporation and two from Dhaka South City Corporation.

During the same period, 21 patients were discharged from hospitals.

So far this year, 1,432 dengue cases and four deaths have been recorded, while 1,341 patients have recovered. Of the 1432 dengue cases, 64 percent are male and 36 percent female.
