Remittance inflow grows 19.8pc till March 30

DHAKA, March 31, 2026 (BSS) - Remittance inflow grew by 19.8 percent year-on-year, reaching $26,076 million during July 1 to March 30 of the fiscal year 2025-26, according to Bangladesh Bank (BB) data issued today. 

Last year, during the same period, the country received $21,761 million in remittances. 

During the first 30 days of March, expatriates sent home $3,622 million in remittances compared to $3,272 million in the same period of the previous fiscal year.
