DHAKA, Mar 31, 2026 (BSS) - Police have recovered a looted shotgun along with 27 cartridges and 10 rounds of Chinese Rifle bullets from city’s Pallabi area here yesterday.  

Acting on a tip-off, a team from Pallabi Police conducted a drive at an under-construction building at Alinagar Sagufta Housing area. During the operation, they recovered a looted 12-bore shotgun, 27 rounds of cartridges, 10 rounds of Chinese rifle bullets and two empty shotgun shells from the second floor of the building.

The seized items were found in an abandoned condition at the site.

Police officials said that legal proceedings in connection with the incident are currently underway.
