Dhaka, Feb 23, 2026 (BSS) - The Directorate of Madrasa Education has asked the authorities of non-government madrasas to properly follow the approved manpower structure and MPO policy while appointing staff to vacant posts.

According to a notification issued by the directorate, it has been made mandatory to comply with the newly introduced 'Manpower Structure and MPO Policy, 2026' in filling all vacant posts that remain outside the purview of the Non-Government Teachers' Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA).

The notification said if any recruitment is made in violation of the policy, the Monthly Payment Order (MPO) facility will not be approved for the concerned posts.

It said the managing committee or governing body of non-government madrasas usually conducts recruitment for vacant posts not covered by the NTRCA based on recommendations of the respective recruitment committee.

However, the recruitment process must now be completed in accordance with the 'Manpower Structure and MPO Policy, 2026', the notification added.
