1,022 students absent in SSC Bangla 2nd paper in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, April 23, 2026 (BSS) – A total of 1,022 students were absent in the Bangla Second Paper examination on the second day of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations under the Chattogram Education Board (CEB). 

Out of 106,867 registered candidates from 1,125 educational institutions, 105,845 students appeared in the examination at 218 centres.

The Bangla Second Paper examination was held peacefully today across five districts under the board’s jurisdiction.

“Today’s examination was held without any disruption. We hope the upcoming examinations will also continue in a peaceful environment,” CEB Controller of Examinations Prof Parvej Sazzad Chowdhury told BSS.
