JUAAB inks software development agreement with KAICOM

DHAKA, April 30, 2026 (BSS) - The Japanese Universities Alumni Association in Bangladesh (JUAAB) and a Dhaka-based IT services and consulting firm KAICOM Co. Ltd. (KAICOM) signed a software development agreement at the JUAAB office in the capital today.

JUAAB President and National University (NU) Treasurer Prof Dr. A. T. M. Zafrul Azam and KAICOM Founder and CEO Anjan Das signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations, said a press release.

Former JUAAB President Professor Dr. Mohammad Khorshed Alam, Senior Vice President Professor Dr. Mohammad Abdullah Khan, Treasurer Professor Dr. Mohiuddin Ahmed Bhuiyan, along with other executive committee members of JUAAB and officials of KAICOM were present on the occasion. 

The agreement was signed to provide technological support for making Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) registration easier and more efficient.

JUAAB is a non-political and social organization of Bangladeshi professionals who have obtained undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from Japan. 

Members of this organization are working in various universities, research institutions, and government and private organizations in Bangladesh.

In addition to promoting Japanese language education and expanding Japanese culture in Bangladesh, JUAAB has long been responsible for organizing JLPT in collaboration with the Japan Foundation and the Embassy of Japan in Bangladesh.

Through this agreement, JLPT registration for Japanese language learners in Bangladesh will become easier and more efficient in the future, said the press release.
