DHAKA, May 26, 2026 (BSS) - CNG filling stations across the country will remain open round the clock on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Azha till June 2.

The Energy and Mineral Resources Division has sent a letter to the Chairman of the Bangladesh Oil, Gas and Mineral Corporation (Petrobangla) requesting necessary measures in this regard.

According to the letter, CNG filling stations will operate round the clock from May 21 to June 2, including the seven days before Eid, the Eid day itself, and the following five days.

The decision was taken to ensure smooth movement of vehicles on highways and make travel easier for passengers during the Eid holidays.
