CA joins meeting with Bangladeshi expatriates in Dubai

DHAKA, Feb 13, 2025 (BSS) - Chief Adviser Professor Yunus today joined a community engagement programme with Bangladeshi expatriates in Dubai, UAE.

He attended the meeting on the sidelines of the World Governments Summit (WGS).

Prof Yunus also joined an interactive plenary session of the World Governments Summit (WGS) at its venue.

The session was moderated by Becky Anderson of CNN, according to a message received here.

Earlier in the day, the minister of health of the United Arab Emirates, Abdul Rahman bin Mohamed Al Owais, called on Chief Adviser Prof Yunus on the sidelines of the summit. 

The Chief Adviser reached Dubai on Wednesday night to take part in the WGS.

UAE Minister for Sports Dr Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi received him.

Foreign Adviser Md Touhid Hossain; Lutfey Siddiqi, the Special Envoy of the Chief Adviser; and Lamiya Morshed, senior secretary and the chief SDG coordinator of the Bangladesh government; are accompanying Prof Yunus during his tour to Dubai.
