
DHAKA, April 12, 2026 (BSS) - A new milestone in the country's private Hajj management is set to be marked with the formal inauguration of the first-ever Nusuk Card distribution programme for Bangladeshi pilgrims.
The launching ceremony will be held at 5:00 pm on Monday at the Recreation Hall (7th floor) of the Fars Hotel & Resort in the capital's Purana Paltan area.
Through this initiative, Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrims will receive the Nusuk Card linked with the Nusuk, which is expected to make their pilgrimage more organized, safe and hassle-free.
The event will be attended as chief guest by Religious Affairs Minister Kazi Shah Mofazzal Houssain (Kaikobad).
Special guests include Civil Aviation and Tourism State Minister M. Rashiduzzaman Millat, Information and Broadcasting State Minister Yeaser Khan Choudhury and Prime Minister's Adviser and spokesperson of the Prime Minister's Office Dr. Mahdi Amin, among others.
Guest of honour will include senior officials from Saudi Hajj service organisations.
