Programmes taken to mark martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman

DHAKA, May 27, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Sammilita Peshajibi Parishad (BSPP) has taken two-day long elaborate programmes to observe the martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman with due solemnity and respect.

Marking the day, the leaders of BSPP will pay homage at the grave of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman at 10 am on May 30. They will also offer doa and munajat seeking eternal peace of the departed soul of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman.

They will hold a discussion marking the martyrdom anniversary at Jatiya Press Club at 10 am on June 1. 

BNP Standing Committee Member and former minister Dr Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain will address the discussion as the chief guest.

The BSPP leaders have requested all members of the parishad to attend those programmes on time.
