ACC drive in eight rail station ahead Eid

DHAKA, May 28 (BSS) - The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) is conducting drive at eight rail stations to probe the allegations of harassment of passengers and selling tickets in black market ahead of the Eid-ul Azha.

ACC’s deputy director (public relations) M Akhtarul Islam said, the drive is going on to check corrupt practices of a section of people in providing services to the people. 

The drive has been launched at Kamlapur Railway Stations and Airport Railway Station in the capital, Rangpur railway station, Chattogram railway station, Dinajpur railway station, Parbotipur railway station, Jamalpur railway station, Mymensingh railway station, Sylhet railway station and Rajshahi railway station. 

ACC’s head office will lead in the drive in the two rail stations in Dhaka while concerned district offices will engage their enforcement team to lead drive, he said.
