Jamaat leaders meet CEC to discuss election issues

DHAKA, May 28, 2025 (BSS) - A five-member delegation of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami met with Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin today to discuss various election-related matters.

The meeting took place at the Nirbachan Bhaban in city’s Agargaon area  this afternoon.

The delegation included Jamaat-e-Islami Assistant Secretary General Advocate Ehsanul Mahbub Zubair, Advocate Moazzem Hossain Helal, President of the Bangladesh Lawyers Council Advocate Jasim Uddin Sarkar, Pirojpur District Ameer Principal Tafazzal Hossain Farid and Masud Sayedee.

Masud Sayedee is former chairman of Indurkani Upazila and son of late Jamaat leader Maulana Delwar Hossain Sayedee.
