DHAKA, May 28, 2025 (BSS) - A court here today ordered the imprisonment of seven individuals, including notorious terrorist Farid Uddin alias Excel Babu, in connection with a case filed under charges of terrorist activities with Mohammadpur Police Station.

The six other accused were Md Rakib Hossain, Md Juvraj, Md Liton Miah, Md Alam, Md Sohel Howlader and Md Salam.

All seven were produced before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court in earlier today. The investigating officer of the case submitted a petition requesting their detention until the investigation is completed.

After reviewing the petition, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Dilruba Afroz Tithi granted the request and ordered that the accused be sent to jail.
