Dhaka, May 30, 2025 (BSS) - Police have arrested 11 suspected robbers during a series of raids across different areas under Shampur Thana in the capital.

The arrested individuals are Anik Panna, 35, an accused in 19 separate cases, Md. Al-Amin, 19, Shuvo Sheikh, 30, Md. Sujon Chowdhury, 28, Md. Shakil, 19, Md. Miraj Hossain, 20, Md. Jianur Rahman, 34, Md. Dulal Mia, 40, Md. Rafiqul Islam Milon, 30, Md. Sajib Sheikh alias Soikot and Rubel, according to a press release issued by the Media and Public Relations Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).

The special patrol and robbery prevention team of Shampur Police Station carried out the operations throughout this month to identify and detain the suspects, the release stated.

All of the arrestees have since been sent to court, it added.
