3 AL, Jubo League men held over participating in flash procession

   DHAKA, June 1, 2025 (BSS) - Police arrested three leaders and activists of the Awami League and Awami Jubo League on charges of taking part in a sudden procession from the the capital's Dholaipar area on Saturday. 

     The arrested are Shyampur Thana Awami League Joint General Secretary Khorshed-ur-Rahman Masum,48, Kadamtali Thana Jubo League member Ahsan Kabir Adar,31, Kadamtali Thana Jubo League member Idris Ali Ishan,22.

     Shyampur Thana police arrested the trio from in front of Delta Hospital on the Dhaka-Mawa Highway in Dholaipar area around 02.55 pm on Saturday. 

     The arrestees are accused of multiple cases registered with different police stations linked to the July uprising.
