DINAJPUR, June 2, 2025 (BSS) - Hili Land Port of the district will remain closed for 10 days on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, according to port sources.

All internal activities at the Dinajpur Hili Land Port, including import and export, will remain closed on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, said Sakhawat Hossain Shilpi, President of the Import and Export Workers Group of Dinajpur Hili Land Port this afternoon.

Import and export activities between Bangladesh and India through the port will be suspended from Thursday, June 5, to Saturday, June 14, in observance of the holy Eid festival, he said.

However, passenger movement through the Hili immigration check post will stay open as usual.

Officer-in-Charge of Dinajpur Hili Immigration Inspector Md. Ariful Islam said, "Although import and export are closed at the port on the occasion of Eid al-Azha, the passenger movement through this check post will remain normal.”
