DHAKA, June 2, 2025(BSS) -A court here today ordered to freeze 23 bank accounts of former inspector general of police (IGP) AKM Shahidul Haque.

Senior Special Judge of Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Court Md Zakir Hossain Galib passed the order following a petition submitted by the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC).

Deputy Director of the ACC headquarters quoting the petition told journalists that the commission has constituted an inquiry committee for investigation against allegations of corruption, misuse of power, criminal misconduct and acquiring huge illegal money beyond his known source of income.
