DHAKA, June 26, 2025 (BSS) - BNP Chairperson's Adviser and former Cabinet Secretary ASM Abdul Halim has said the party will support all mass movements to realize the demands of the people.

BNP will stand by every movement that reflects the aspirations of the masses, Halim said, addressing a rally as the chief guest in Jamalpur's Islampur Upazila on Wednesday. 

Islampur Upazila and Municipality units of BNP jointly organized the rally, according to the BNP Media Cell.

Halim highlighted the severe communication problems faced by local residents in Jamalpur. 

He called for the reconstruction of the Dhaka-Dewanganj railway track and proposed extending the "Bijoy Express" train service up to Dewanganj to help ease public suffering.

Local BNP leaders, among others, addressed the rally.
