DHAKA, June 26, 2025 (BSS) - Air-Vice Marshal Manjur Kabir Bhuiyan has been withdrawn from his post as Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) and reassigned to the Air Force. 

A notification in this regard was issued on Thursday by the Public Administration Ministry. 

However, the order did not mention who would succeed him in the role.

According to the notification signed by Joint Secretary Abul Hayat Md Rafique, Manjur Kabir Bhuiyan has been withdrawn and reassigned to the Armed Forces Division as per order of the President. 

Earlier, on August 9 last year, the government had appointed Air Vice Marshal Bhuiyan as the Chairman of CAAB.
