KHULNA, June 27, 2025 (BSS) – Student Affairs Secretary of the BNP National Executive Committee Rokibul Islam Bakul here today said BNP leaders and activists would move forward for building a better Bangladesh under the leadership of Begum Khaleda Zia and Tarique Rahman.

“We do not want violent politics. We do not want to see the terrorist activities of fascist Hasina. Under the leadership of Begum Khaleda Zia and our future leader Tarique Rahman, BNP activists would move forward for building a better Bangladesh,” he said.

Bakul made the remarks while speaking as chief guest at a women’s gathering of BNP, organized by the BNP family at Ward No. 6 of Daulatpur Thana area in the city last night.

“Over the past 16 years, the fascist Sheikh Hasina’s looting forces and helmet squads have humiliated and tortured you - going door to door, harassed and abused you. We all remember those incidents,” said Bakul who is planning to be BNP’s candidate for the Khulna-3 constituency in the upcoming national polls.

“We do not want to be humiliated anymore. We want to live peacefully in our homes. We want to ensure people’s fundamental rights - rights for which this country became independent, food, clothing, education, healthcare, and shelter. We want to return to those principles,” he said.
