DHAKA, June 27, 2025 (BSS) – Ntv special correspondent Hasan Javed and daily New Age senior reporter Moniruzzaman Mission were elected president and general secretary respectively of Law Reporters’ Forum (LRF) today.
The election was held after LRF's annual general meeting at the Supreme Court Bar Association building this noon. Chief election commissioner and senior journalist Swapan Das Gupta declared the result.
Other office bearers include - Banglavision’s special correspondent Ahammed Sarwar Hossain Bhuiyan (vice president), Arafat Munna of Bangladesh Protidin (joint secretary), Monjur Hossain of Channel (treasurer), SM Nur Mohammad of Ajker Patrika (organising secretary), Jabed Akhter of ATN News (publicity and publication secretary), Jannatul Ferdous Tanvi of BBC Bangla (training and welfare secretary).
Executive committee members are - Wakil Ahmed Heron of daily Samakal, Bikash Narayan Dutta of daily Janakantha, Habibur Rahman of BSS and Fazlul Haque Mridha of Jago News 24.com.
A good number of members including Shahiduzzaman, Saleh Uddin, Ashutosh Sarkar, Didarul Alam Didar and Muhammad Yasin were present on the occasion, among others.
