Jamaat announces 39-day programs marking July uprising

DHAKA, June 28, 2025 (BSS) – Bangladesh Jamaat-e Islami today announced a 39-day-long program from July 1 marking the first anniversary of July Mass Uprising.

Secretary General of the party Prof. Mia Golam Parowar announced this program at a press conference at its office in the city’s Mogbazar area. The program will commence on July 1 and continue till August 8.

The functions of the 39-day long program include- offering prayers for July martyrs and injured countrywide, meeting the family members of July martyrs, arranging seminars and symposiums countrywide to upheld the spirit and demands of the mass uprising, displaying documentaries on July uprising, unveiling the covers of translated versions (English and Arabic) of Martyrs Memorial, and taking part programs announced nationally.
